From the website siennasecure.com/connectwise click on the ConnectWise Manage Customers button on the right-hand side of the page.
It will take you to the registration page where you create your API credentials within Manage.
You will need your ConnectWise company and site information as well as your API public and private keys. Complete the user registration information and click Create Account.
You will get a confirmation message on your screen that it was set up in Manage.
You will also get a confirmation email with the link to the assessment.
Login using the credentials provided in the email.
The assessment will pull some basic information from your Manage implementation.
Login to your Manage account from this page.
Under the Companies menu you will now see links for My Assessments, Assessments Dashboard and Assessments Comparisons. These links are for the MSP, not the clients of the MSP.
If you click on My Assessments the assessments you see will be for yourself. The first time in the My Assessments link you will see the first assessment generated for you to complete.
You probably will want to run an assessment on yourself to understand your risks and how the assessment tool works.
Performing the Assessment
Click on the pencil to the right to begin editing the assessment.
Answer each question and click next at the bottom of the screen to continue to the next section. After completing the company profile in the Welcome section, you will be asked questions relating to the five functions of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Restore.
The question marks at the end of each question provide a little more guidance on the question if it is needed to help answer the question.
Progress is automatically saved as you proceed through the assessment. You can click on the All Assessments on the top left of the assessment to exit the assessment.
Creating an Assessment for a Client Company
In the Manage product select the Company you want to create an assessment to be completed. When you are in the Company on the top right of the menu there will be a Risk Assessments tab. When you click on the Risk Assessments tab it sends a message within Manage to create a Risk Assessment for that company. It is the same NIST CSF assessment you would have taken if you completed one after registering.
Once completed you can click on the Show Results button to see the results.
